Our gis are pre-shrunk, but may still shrink 1-2 inches if machine dried on high heat. We recommend hang drying or tumble dry on low.

Fit Note

Shorts have an elastic waistband that stretches 4-6" beyond the flat measurement. Jean/waist size is the most important factor. 7.5" inseam on most sizes.

How to Measure

    Chest

    Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal and snug but not tight.

    Waist

    Measure around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above the belly button.

    Inseam

    Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of your ankle bone along the inside of your leg.

    Height

    Stand straight against a wall without shoes. Mark the top of your head and measure from the floor to the mark.

Sizing Tips

  • If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit during training.
  • BJJ Gis may shrink 3-7%. Cold wash + hang dry = ~3%. Hot wash + tumble dry = ~7%.
  • No-Gi gear is designed for a compression fit. Size up if you prefer a looser feel.
  • Weight is often the most important factor—prioritize it over height when choosing your size.
